Kurt van Kuller is a vice president and portfolio manager with Sit Investment Associates.  Kurt joined Sit Investment Associates in May 2018.  He is responsible for municipal fixed income portfolios.

Kurt’s immediate prior work experience included eight years at MUFG Union Bank in Los Angeles as managing director of credit and public finance. Prior to MUFG Union Bank, he has held a number of senior investment positions over his 30+ years of experience at Northeast Securities, 1861 Capital Management, Merrill Lynch, Lebenthal & Co., Inc., and Moseley Securities Corp.

Kurt has earned industry recognition for his work in the municipal bond field and has spoken and published extensively on housing bonds.  He received a B.A. in economics from SUNY Albany in 1977 and an M.B.A. in 1980.
